CASEE President
CASEE has elected a new President in Cluj-Napoca
Florin Stănică, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and International Relations at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV) has been elected as the new CASEE President during the 14th CASEE Conference in Cluj-Napoca. Congratulations!
After two terms, Michal Lošťák, the First Vice-Rector of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), who has been the CASEE President since 2018, gave his last Report of the CASEE President at the annual conference in Cluj-Napoca in June 2024. The CASEE community appreciated his leadership and enthusiasm, although he had to cope with unprecedented difficulties during the global pandemic, when international relations, student and staff mobility, and cross-border collaboration faced a critical period.
The General Assembly and CASEE Board had elected a new CASEE President, Florin Stănică, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and International Relations at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV). Florin Stănică has served as CASEE Vice-President since 2022 and was elected as a member of the CASEE Board already in 2019. We all wish him the best of luck, especially at the time of transition which CASEE faces while transferring its legal entity from Belgium to Romania. Florin became the third President of CASEE since the network was established in 2010.
